Jamaica is a small island in the Western Caribbean sea. Flight wise, you can come in with many different American airlines, or why not start your holiday off right and fly in with Air Jamaica, it gets you in the mood straight away. Now, how to pick where to stay, you could try Negril, if you're looking for a relaxation vacation, but there's still plenty of nightlife, starting with sunset at Rick's where you can watch the divers jump from Cliff's, or up the trees, or you can have a go yourself if you want to, and moving on to other great spots, or just end a drink at the beach.
If you're looking for a little more excitement, then head to Montego Bay. It's where the action is, whether it's a jazz bar, or Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, where you can drink, dance the night away, or slip slide into the ocean from the dance floor...
If you're after a mix, then try Ocho Rios shopping, nightlife and some great beaches. Things to do in Jamaica include watching the beautiful sunsets, visiting the mystical Rose Hall, where the ghost of Annie is said to still watch over you, climb Dunn's River Falls (a waterfalls that with guidance you can climb up to the top), or just enjoy some reggae.
One aspect I think is great about Jamaica is some of the all inclusive resorts. Yes your meals are included, your drinks (alcoholic and soft), and most activities, including sometimes diving, i think it's fantastic to know what your holiday will cost before you go. The final thing about Jamaica is the people. The are relaxed and friendly, willing to stop and talk, but never bugging you. Jamaica... one heart... one love.
